Larry Luck joins the company as Vice President of Professional Services, reporting directly to Scott Elequin, President and CEO of SmartDog Services. In his role, Luck will direct teams responsible for the company’s Cloud Applications, Solution Center Operations, DBA on Demand, and Advanced Technology Solutions.
“My goal is to help our customers take full advantage of the software they own and to build a bridge to Oracle’s new technologies in the process. To achieve this, our team will refine our operations enabling us and our customers to scale efficiently,” said Luck. “This opportunity with the Oracle Cloud applications and infrastructure will help all customers from very small to large enterprises – to transform their businesses in ways that were not possible just a few years ago.”

Prior to joining SmartDog, Luck was the Vice President of Client Services and Chief Information Officer for Viewpoint Construction Software in Portland, Oregon. There he led a team of 300 professionals and was responsible for driving measurable improvements in customer software implementation time, response time, and satisfaction measures. Previously Luck held a number of Chief Information Officer positions at companies such as Schnitzer Steel Industries and Xerox Office Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Fort Hays State University.
